# Security & Privacy

> Learn how Pierview AI collects, uses, protects, and stores account, usage, prompt, scan, and AI response data.

## Data we collect

Pierview collects and processes:

* **AI response data**: Outputs from AI models when we run your prompts. We extract brand mentions, sentiment, and citation URLs.
* **Account data**: Email, workspace info, and configuration (prompts, brands, scans).
* **Usage data**: How you use the product (e.g., scans run, reports generated) for product improvement.

We do **not** collect sensitive personal data from end users. We simulate queries and analyze public AI outputs.

## How we use it

* **Product delivery**: Run scans, generate reports, surface insights.
* **Improvement**: Improve accuracy, add models, refine metrics.
* **Support**: Respond to requests and troubleshoot issues.

## Security

* Data is transmitted over HTTPS.
* Access is authenticated and scoped to your workspace.
* We follow industry best practices for storage and access control. Details depend on your plan and data residency requirements.

## Privacy

* We do not sell your data.
* We do not use your prompt or scan data for training AI models.
