Pierview is a platform that provides analytics to help brands get mentioned in AI search. This Privacy Notice describes Pierview’s policies and practices regarding its collection and use of your personal data, and sets forth your privacy rights. We recognize that information privacy is an ongoing responsibility, and so we will from time to time update this Privacy Notice as we undertake new personal data practices or adopt new privacy policies.

We collect and use personal data only as necessary to provide and improve the Pierview platform. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and organization details. This information is used to manage your account, provide access to the platform, and communicate important updates. Authentication is handled by Clerk, our third-party authentication provider.
If you install our tracking script on your website, we collect visitor data including page views, referrer information, device type, and session data. This data belongs to you and is used solely to power your Traffic Analysis dashboard.
If you connect a hosting integration (e.g., Vercel), we analyze your server logs to detect visits from AI agents such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini. Only requests matching known AI agent User-Agent patterns are stored. All other traffic is discarded immediately and never stored by Pierview.
When you connect third-party services (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Vercel, Framer, Stripe), we store OAuth tokens or API keys encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption. These credentials are used only to access the specific services you have authorized.
Pierview offers optional integrations with Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 so that your own search and traffic performance can be viewed alongside your AI visibility data. You authorize these connections yourself through Google's consent screen, and you can revoke them at any time.
We request the minimum scopes needed to read the properties you choose to connect:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly): the list of sites you have access to, and read-only Search Analytics for the site you select, including search queries, page URLs, countries, devices, clicks, impressions, average position, and click-through rate. This is aggregated site performance data, not individual visitor records.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly): the list of GA4 properties you have access to, and read-only aggregated report data for the property you select, including users, new users, sessions, engaged sessions, engagement rate, average session duration, page views, page paths, and country. We do not request or read user-level or event-level exports.email): the email address of the Google account used to authorize the connection, so the dashboard can show which account a connection belongs to.We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or any other Google service.
Google user data is used only to provide features you have asked for inside your own workspace:
Metrics are requested from the Google APIs on demand, at the moment you load a dashboard page, generate a report, or run a query. We do not copy Google Search Console or Google Analytics data into our database, and we do not run background jobs that harvest it. When you disconnect an integration, those requests stop and the stored credentials are deleted.
The only Google data we store is the connection itself: the OAuth access and refresh tokens, encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM, the granted scopes, the authorizing account's email address, and the identifier and display name of the site or property you selected. Metrics returned by the Google APIs are held only in memory for the duration of the request and in the report or answer delivered to you.
Google user data is visible only to members of your organization and to Pierview personnel where necessary to provide support or maintain the service. When you use the Pierview assistant or our MCP server, the specific metrics needed to answer your request are sent to the AI model provider serving that request (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google) so that the answer can be produced. We do not sell Google user data, transfer it for advertising or credit purposes, or use it to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
Pierview's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can disconnect Google Search Console or Google Analytics at any time from the data sources page in your Pierview dashboard, which deletes the stored tokens. You can also revoke Pierview's access directly from your Google account permissions page. To request deletion of any remaining data, contact support@pierview.ai.
When you visit our website, we may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited. This information helps us understand how our website is used and improve the user experience.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. These cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with third-party service providers necessary to operate and deliver the Pierview platform. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

Your personal data is stored by Pierview on its servers, and on the servers of the cloud-based database management services Pierview engages, located in the United States. Pierview retains service data for the duration of the customer’s business relationship with Pierview and for a period of time thereafter, to analyze the data for Pierview’s own operations, and for historical and archiving purposes associated with Pierview’s services. Pierview retains prospect data until such time as it no longer has business value and is purged from Pierview systems. All personal data that Pierview controls may be deleted upon verified request from Data Subjects or their authorized agents. We do not knowingly attempt to solicit or receive information from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the platform. Your continued use of Pierview after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
